영어일기 '20.5.27

오늘도 시간이 훅하고 지나가버렸다. 

지난 주보다는 다행히 바쁘지 않긴한데 피곤하긴 매한가지...

얼마전 누나와 엄마가 말다툼을 했는데 그 이후로 엄마가 누나한테 말을 걸지 않는단다..

애도아니고 참...

서로의 입장차이는 이해가 가지만 일방적으로 소통을 끊는건 좀 아닌 것 같아서

엄마랑 점심시간에 잠깐 통화를 했다.

처음엔 좀 짜증을 내시다가 약간 설득이 되었는지 좀 가라앉은 느낌이었다.

둘이 잘 화해하길 바라고 누나도 잘 되기를 간절히 바란다.

 

The time goes by too fast today as always.

==> I can't believe how fast the day went. / This day went by so quickly / Time really flies fast today. In a blink of an eye. today has gone. / I feel like days go by too fast. / Time just seems to fly.

I'm not busier than last week but I felt tired as always.

=> I wasn't more busy last week. but still tired.

A few days ago My mom had words with my sister. After then mom didn't talk to her.

==> A couple of days ago, Mom and sister had a quarrel / Mom quarreled with my sister.

After a  quarrel with mom, my sister and mom don't talk each other.

She's being a kid...

=-> I dont' understand my mom's action. She's acting like a child.

I got make a sense about their opinions though. I thought It was wrong what she did one way communication.

==> I get it both sides. I thought It was wrong thing to do. I think it's just one-way communication

So I called mom for a while at lunchtime. 

==>So we talked on the phone. 

At firts she was upset at me. After talking with me she had relaxed a little bit.

==> She seemed to be a little bit peevish at first but as we talked she was getting calm down.

I hope they make peace with each other. I desperately hope my sister will be succeed.

==> I hope she'll be happy. I hope everything is going well with her.
